Bain & Company

Location: 2 Bloor Street East, Floors 28 and 29, Toronto

Every business has distinct priorities and it takes a true partner to understand them and to ensure the unique set of needs are successfully achieved

For Bain & Company, integration of proprietary brand standards into their new Toronto office was of paramount importance. As a result, the project involved remote coordination between Vestacon and the New York City-based design firm Vocon, in order to meet the unique requirements. In addition to the implementation of the companies brand features, this project included an interconnecting staircase, vertical folding partition, and several Executive boardrooms

Vestacon is always looking to learn from each project. For Bain & Company, we learned that the slab cut for the stair altered the post-tensioned slab structure which increased costs when compared to a typical slab cut. Initially, Vestacon was hired to do Construction Management of the two floors, and when Bain & Company required additional work on an expansion they came to us for further services.

Project Features

  • Interconnecting stair in a post-tension building
  • Lunchroom
  • Executive boardrooms
  • Vertical folding partitions
  • Relocation of IT department without interrupting the business
