This LEED-certified and ARIDO Award of Merit winning project for Capital One was a challenge in coordination and communication with various stakeholders throughout North America. The success of this challenge lead to a smooth pre-construction and construction process

Capital One - Ops Centre's new office space focuses on nurturing collaborative areas. Storage lockers, colour coded by which area of the office you're in, and built-in seating alcoves provide this office with a collaborative and creative environment. The space includes features such as leather paneling with steel frames and mirrored black ceilings, polished concrete floors, and dramatic lighting. Designed by IBI Group, this 40,000 square foot LEED-certified space boasts stunning city views, numerous flexible collaboration areas as well as hospitality and conference spaces

Long lead items were pre-ordered by Vestacon to avoid any delays affecting the schedule, Capital One also required an exterior generator which needed to be installed during construction, the scope of that work required for Vestacon to remain on-site longer than initially planned in order to finish installation however this did not affect the move-in-date. The emergency generator scope consisted of 2-800 KWdual generators located 300 feet from the building. The underground conduit/cabling system was extensive. To allow the generators to function with the building system they have to power the entire building during an emergency.
