To bring this state-of-the-art facility to life, this Confidential Technology Firm collaborated with CBRE, HOK, Vestacon, and a variety of other consultants. The 113,000 square foot headquarters is ideally situated in one of Toronto’s prestigious developments, ‘The Well’, a vibrant mixed-use development offering a holistic community approach of live, work, shop, and play experiences.

Given Toronto's status as an innovative global technology hub, attracting and retaining top talent is crucial for many organizations. Our client’s new modern workplace design features a diverse range of hybrid workplace settings optimized to allow purposeful connections for their employees and customer engagements.

The new headquarters utilizes a ‘neighbourhood’ planning model for the office, blending active workspaces with nearby access to collaboration and quiet zones. Well-appointed meetings and enclosed project rooms are strategically placed on each floor for dedicated project teams. There was also special consideration given to the shared amenities for social and personal spaces including a dynamic lunchroom with a commercial kitchen, refreshment coffee bars, a library, a tech genius bar, a fully equipped exercise area, a games room, and meditation and prayer rooms. There is also access to the outside with a landscaped terrace, which features the installation of an 8-foot-tall moose statue, donated by the City of Toronto.

Within this new development at The Well, Vestacon’s project delivery team faced multiple logistical challenges in coordinating the build-out of the tenant space in tandem with the ongoing base-building activities. The team strategically coordinated an approach that facilitated efficient access to freight elevators for delivery of all materials arriving on-site and trade coordination.
